South Tampa Counseling provides mental health therapy services to adults, children, and adolescents in the Tampa Bay area. We provide individual, relationship, and family therapy in a confidential and comfortable setting to help our clients overcome any emotional or behavioral issues that are negatively affecting their quality of life.

Our office is centrally located in South Tampa and is easily accessible to the greater Tampa Bay Area, including St Petersburg. We provide flexible daytime and evening appointment times to accommodate working professionals. Same week appointments are available.
Alicia Eddy LMHC is originally from the Tampa Bay Area and returned after completing a dual master degree program at Columbia University to begin South Tampa Counseling. She began her clinical experience at the Children's Aid Society in New York City, providing individual and group therapy to domestic abuse survivors. She has since expanded her therapeutic expertise to include treating children and adults for depression, anxiety, and trauma. Alicia Eddy LMHC is clinically trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is in the final stages of receiving national certification for Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition to her work at South Tampa Counseling, she volunteers her time to Veterans Counseling Veterans, a nonprofit that provides free therapy and neurofeedback services to military veterans.
Alicia Eddy LMHC graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University in 2007, receiving a BA in Psychology. She went on to complete a dual masters degree program at Columbia University, receiving a MA in Mental Health Counseling and an EdM in Psychological Counseling. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.
Professional Memberships include the American Psychological Association, the America Counseling Association, and Suncoast Mental Health Counselors Association.
